Terms of Service
Last updated 3 August 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and us for the use of CleanCut Pro. Please read them — by creating an account you agree to them.
LEGAL_ENTITY and GOVERNING_LAW in app/(site)/terms/page.tsx to remove this notice.1. Who these terms are with
CleanCut Pro is provided by [legal entity to be set] (“we”, “us”). “You” means the business that creates an account and anyone who uses it under your account.
2. The service
CleanCut Pro is software for managing a home-service business: clients, requests, quotes, jobs, scheduling, invoicing, payments, timesheets, and related features. We provide it as a hosted service, and we may add, change, or remove features over time.
3. Your account
- You must give accurate registration information and keep it current.
- You are responsible for activity under your account, including by your staff, and for keeping credentials confidential. Tell us promptly if you think an account has been compromised.
- You must be at least 16 and have authority to bind the business you register.
- An account owner can add and remove team members and set their permissions. Access is scoped by role, and you are responsible for granting it appropriately.
4. Free trial, subscription, and billing
- New accounts get a 14-day free trial with no card required.
- After the trial an active subscription is required. Without one the account is locked: you keep your data and can still reach billing, but the rest of the application is unavailable until you subscribe.
- Subscriptions are billed in advance at the price and interval shown at checkout, and renew automatically until cancelled. Billing is handled by Stripe; we do not see or store your card details.
- You can cancel at any time from the billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. We do not provide pro-rata refunds for partial periods unless required by law.
- If a payment fails we may retry it and will keep your account available for a short grace period before locking it.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice by email, effective from your next renewal.
- Prices exclude taxes unless stated; you are responsible for any applicable tax.
5. Your data
You own your data. The information you and your staff put into CleanCut Pro — clients, jobs, invoices, photos, and the rest — remains yours. We use it only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for having the right to enter the personal information you upload about your clients, and for handling it lawfully. Where we process that information on your behalf we act on your instructions.
You can request an export or deletion of your data at any time by emailing support@cleancutpro.io.
6. Email and messaging you send
CleanCut Pro lets you send email to your clients — quotes, invoices, reminders, review requests, and marketing campaigns. You are responsible for that content and for complying with the law that applies to it, including CAN-SPAM, GDPR/PECR, and equivalent rules on consent and unsubscribes.
Marketing messages sent through CleanCut Pro include an unsubscribe link, and we honour opt-outs automatically. You must not remove or defeat that mechanism, and you must not use the service to send unsolicited bulk email. We may suspend sending from an account that generates significant spam complaints, because doing so protects delivery for every other customer.
7. Taking payments from your clients
If you connect Stripe to accept payment on invoices, that is your own Stripe account and your agreement is with Stripe. Payments flow to you directly. We are not a party to the transaction between you and your client, and we are not responsible for the goods or services you supply, disputes, chargebacks, refunds, or your tax obligations.
8. Third-party integrations
Optional integrations — QuickBooks Online, Google Business Profile, Stripe — are provided by third parties under their own terms. Connecting one authorises us to exchange data with it on your behalf. We are not responsible for those services, and they may change or withdraw their APIs in ways that break an integration. Features marked “Coming soon” are not available yet and are not part of what you are paying for.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Break the law, or infringe anyone’s rights, using the service.
- Upload malware, or content you have no right to upload.
- Attempt to access another account’s data, probe or bypass our security, or scrape the service.
- Overload or interfere with the service, or circumvent rate limits or usage restrictions.
- Resell or white-label the service without our written agreement.
- Reverse engineer the software except to the extent the law permits.
We may suspend an account that breaches this section, and where practical we will tell you why first.
10. Availability and support
We work to keep CleanCut Pro available and reliable, but we do not offer a guaranteed uptime commitment under these terms. Maintenance, updates, and third-party outages can interrupt the service. Support is provided by email at support@cleancutpro.io during business hours.
11. Our intellectual property
The service, its software, and its branding are ours and are protected by intellectual property law. Your subscription is a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it while your subscription is active. If you send us feedback we may use it without obligation to you.
12. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. CleanCut Pro is a business-management tool, not accounting, tax, legal, or payroll advice — you are responsible for the accuracy of your invoices, tax handling, and wage calculations, and for reviewing them.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, or data. Our total liability arising out of these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the service in breach of these terms, from content or personal information you upload, or from the services you provide to your own clients.
15. Termination
You can stop using the service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account for a material breach of these terms, for non-payment, or if required by law. On termination your right to use the service ends; we will make your data available for export for a reasonable period on request, after which it may be deleted.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we will give at least 30 days’ notice by email or in the application, and continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms. If you do not accept them, cancel before they take effect.
17. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [governing law and venue to be set], and the courts there have exclusive jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
18. General
- These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between us on this subject.
- If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
- Not enforcing a right straight away does not waive it.
- You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or sale of the business.
- Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
